It’s not hard to see what’s the latest news of the day when
you have twitter. Twitter is an app that is filled with the latest trends,
latest news, and the most popular hashtags. As we all know, it is election/
voting time so it’s not surprising to open up Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook
and see something about Donald Trump or Joe Biden. It is also not surprising to
see the latest news stories about Covid-19 and its existence all over. When
doing my research on what’s trending on Twitter I looked to the right of the
Twitter app where it says "What’s Happening ". This tab pretty much
tells you what’s currently trending. After pressing that tab, I seen a numerous
amount of hashtags about NFL star Dak Prescott. The hashtags were #Dak
Prescott, #broken leg , #fracture, #ankle injury and #Dallas Cowboys.
Additionally, with me being a huge Dallas Cowboys fan I already knew about this incident but I was not aware that it was trending on Twitter. The tweets that I see were about Dallas Cowboy NFL star Dak Prescott getting injured in the last game against the New York Giants on October 11th. I'm pretty sure this is currently trending on twitter because Dak Prescott is their lead quarterback and pretty much carries the team. Prescott got hurt in the third quarter with an apparently serious right leg injury. According to reporters and coaches it is expected to be a season ending injury. The Cowboys announced Prescott suffered a compound right ankle fracture and dislocation, and it will undergo surgery to wash out the wound. Prescott responded to well wishes on twitter tweeting, “I’ll be back stronger and better".
