#17 Opinion ( State, National, International Issue)

The debate over gun control in Texas has been in progress for many years. There are many people who don't support control and many who do support it. I am a part of the portion of people that does not support gun violence, but I do support having a gun as a source of protection. Gun control in Texas is one of the most important issues that are of the greatest concern to many Texans. A numerous amount of people in Texas have to worry about accidents such as murders, robberies, suicides, and assaults which is where guns are used. According to researchers, every year the United States faces 1,000,000 accidents. For reasons like this is why many experts alarm to ban the use of guns. Gun control in Texas is tremendously important. People opinion shows that many people consider that in order to stop crime in Texas, gun control should be strengthened. 



   The most fundamental reason to legalize gun ownership in today's society would be for protection purposes. This may include self-protection, protecting family, or protecting individual property. For example, if someone breaks into your house and tries to kill you it is reasonable to shoot back with your own gun. In other words, it is conceivable that having a gun allows a person to protect themselves when threatened or being attacked. Moreover, owning a gun can give someone a sense of safety. For example, if a woman is walking her dog at midnight she might not feel safe with just a stick or a rifle. However, if she has a handgun she may feel safer if someone confronts her with a robbery or an assault. 
   It is clearly stated in the 2nd amendment that "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed". There are a number of laws restricting the possession and usage of guns, may outspoken advocates of gun ownership have argued that the 2nd amendment should not be violated. Additionally, guns play a vital role in the society. Owning a gun does not necessarily mean that that the intent to have it is for crime purposes. It could be used for mainly protection or to enjoy the hobby of hunting. Lastly, it is completely unfair and unwise for the government to ban guns just because a portion of citizens decide to use it improperly and in a violent way.

  My Track & Field Journey at SAU Track and Field doesn’t get as much recognition or hype as football or basketball would.  However, track is an extremely competitive sport and it's one of the only sports in which you compete against yourself. I have been running track ever since I was 10 years old. #10 Listening Post

   Decades ago most people typically received information or heard about something from listening to the radio, watching the news, or reading the newspaper. In today's generation those aren't ways that most people receive information. In today's generation it is so easy for someone to pick up their mobile device and open twitter, Instagram, snap chat, or any other form of social media. Social media is the new type of news. Information is not heard as much as it used to be through the news or radio. Its sometimes just seen with our own eyes. This leads me to talk about listening post. Listening post can be a various amount of things.     According to  Statistics ,listening post can mean "A point in process where companies can collect and analyze feedback from their consumers. Listening post are a way to conform or disprove that assumption by hearing feedback straight from the source". Listening post are mainly invaluable for understanding what customers truly think

  Ohio Public Records    As I stated in my last blog, public records are pieces of information that are not considered confidential and generally pertain to the conduct of government. It is also information that is recorded and stored by the government in which the public can have access to it. Public records can mean more than criminal records or driving records.
